The crust punks are putting off the punters
The ones who put the money in the tills
I know you said you didn’t but its crystal clear you know I know you did
He does it properly, Doom logo tattooed on his neck and that I respect
But business is business
And as it stands, you’ve stolen more drinks than you’ve bought
I can hardly let that slide, when you’re using the toilets like an office space
Show some respect
For your home, your habitat
its crumbling into nothing more and more every day
A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer

Terrific, marauding post-punk that will thrill fans of Idles with its pairing of cutting riffs and wry spoken/sung lyrics. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 26, 2022
The great underlying instrumentation paired with Florence's droll stream of consciousness lyrics make this album stand out. It feels so personal and confessional. Favorite tracks are Strong Feelings and Leafy. I've heard Scratchard Lanyard on alt radio and love that one as well. tofupotpie
